Oakland University women find out tournament opponent

The Oakland women will be the No. 2 seed heading into this weekend's Summit League Tournament, facing Western Illinois Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST. The Grizzlies beat the Leathernecks soundly each time the teams met this season.
The Grizzlies last won the tournament in 2006 as sixth seed, their lowest seed ever, and advanced to the NCAA tournament. They are seeking their fourth postseason berth in five years.
Redshirt senior point guard Riikka Terava is the last remaining player from the NCAA team.
Last season, the Grizzlies fell in the finals to South Dakota State. The Grizzlies then went on to the WNIT.
Oakland has been a top-three seed in the tournament nine times in 11 seasons of Division I play.
Oakland was picked to finish second this season in the preseason league poll after a second-place finish in the regular season and in the tournament last season.
