The case of Travis Bader and the mysterious technical

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — More than 10 minutes into the first half Sunday, Oakland had started to come to life. After a cold start, the Grizzlies had cut the Southern Utah lead to just one on a Travis Bader 3-pointer with 7:21 to play before halftime. Then it got tricky.
Bader was called for his second technical foul in the past two weeks, apparently for taunting a Thunderbirds defender, but what, if anything Bader said to the player remains unclear. If you watch Bader after the shot, he held his hand up as if to guide the ball then brought it behind him in celebration, but it didn't seem like he was being offensive.
Jackson Stevenett made the two technical free throws.
