Travis Bader discusses hitting 3 over Kevin Durant, experience at Nike Skills Academy

Oakland coach Greg Kampe was quick to tweet about Travis Bader's exploits from the Kevin Durant Nike Skills Academy when the senior-to-be hit a step-back 3-pointer over the outstretched NBA superstar.

Bader was quoted about the legend in a story from the Horizon League web series about Oakland's introduction to the conference.
“It would have been easy for (Durant) to kind of stand off to the side and watch his own camp, you know, and maybe give us some instruction,” Bader said. “But he laced ‘em up and he played against us every day and did drills with us and just really competed. He wanted to win whatever drill or game it was. ... It was pretty cool, you know, just to have an NBA superstar guarding you for a second and then to have a moment like that; it was pretty special.”
Despite the fact the prevailing detail about his camp attendance was a grand display of his long-range skills, Kampe told author Michael Raines that Bader had a chance to show off his all-around game.
"From what I’ve heard, I think he has exonerated himself from this idea that he’s just a shooter. I think they were surprised at how athletic he is at 6-foot-5; he’s very long and he can guard and those kinds of things,” Kampe said.
Bader told host Neal Ruhl in an Oakland University-produced video about his time spent working on post moves against Durant. Watch below:
